Explanation for combination of herbs in this blend:

In this combination, all ingredients support the claim at a different level. Echinacea and Goldenseal, herbs which have been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years, are the primary ingredients in this blend. Echinacea and Goldenseal are known for their traditional uses to help the immune system during the common cold, flu and other infections.

This blend, on account of herbs like Echinacea and Goldenseal, can be used to treat the symptoms and duration of colds, flu, sore throats, viruses, mucous membrane irritations and respiratory tract infections. Since Echinacea and Goldenseal are the main constituents in this blend, their actions predominate.

This blend kills the germs and organisms that cause infection and illness. It also increases the body’s resistance and capacity to withstand an invasion, and boosts the body’s ability to recuperate. It is particularly useful when used at the onset of colds and flu symptoms but can be used to prevent illness as well. Included herbs like Cayenne play important supporting roles, positively influencing the ability of Echinacea and Goldenseal to stimulate the immune system and fight infection. Myrrh is antimicrobial, expectorant and antiseptic, all important characteristics in a formula for treating colds, flu and other respiratory tract illnesses. Wild Indigo stimulates the immune response and is effective against bacteria  infections. It is also antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Bee Propolis is a powerful natural antibiotic and improves immune response. Cayenne will ensure the delivery of the other active principles to the vital systems in the body and acts as a stimulant to the entire formula.

Note that our combination contains several ingredients at sub-therapeutic levels. However, since Echinacea and Goldenseal are at their full strength, and based on supporting evidence for the other herbs in the blend, we are confident that the product will be beneficial in its claim to, when used at the onset of illness, reduce the symptoms and duration of colds, flu, sore throats, viruses, mucous membrane irritations and respiratory tract infections.
